Our High Back Grande is designed with the bigger person or anyone who likes the feel of a larger chair in mind. Too many of the “off the shelf” chairs are just too flimsy and down right risky to sit on. Recently, a major retailer recalled thousands of sets of metal patio furniture because of the risk injury due to collapse. Several Bariatric journals indicated that we are becoming wider and heavier than ever before so the norm needs to shift to larger chairs. Our Grande chairs serve individuals that weigh 250 pounds or more (some refer to 450 pounds or more as the target for those who need XL furniture and equipment). Our High Back Grande Rocker/Glider meets those needs. This chair is over 1 ˝ wider, half an inch deeper and one inch taller than our regular chairs, remember we are a custom maker so we can make your chair taller or shorter for that custom feel. Our inspiration was to make a reasonably priced, good looking, long lasting chair that allows everyone to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while feeling safe and secure from collapsing chairs.
